International Title Testing

Title testing in the international arena is designed to explore how local nuance, humour and semantics can affect the understanding / perception of a title in a specific market. Exploring the signals and messages inherent in a translated title mean that distributors are able to home in on a name in the knowledge that it both works and appeals.

Testing is conducted either face-to-face or online, and as a stand-alone exercise or as part of a recruit for a Test Screening.

Title testing can also be incorporated into Creative Testing to understand if and how the creative / title combination alters the target market perception of the film.
